Banky W Announces ‘Retirement’ from Music: “I Want to Get Married and Have Kids”
The Nigerian music scene was hit with another major announcement, this time from EME boss Banky Wellington who says he is set to take a break from the music scene.
The singer and CEO made this announcement in new interview with Channels TV.
"Living an artiste's life does not lend itself to (kind of) working on a relationship. It's tough," Banky W told the Channels TV host, adding, "It's something that I actively (really) want to do, so I want to take some time off, after I'm done releasing this music and touring, I want to take some time off.
"I want to have some kids you know, get married, you know," he continued. "Get married first and then have some kids."
This comes as a shock as just yesterday, rapper Eva Alordiah made her own major announcement, saying she moving on the next chapter of her life.
On the international scene is Adele who says she will be takinga 5-year break to raise her son.
Now, that's too much news to handle in 24 hours.
