WOW! Amazing moment monk runs on water for 125m to break world record


It's as close to a divine miracle as you're likely to see today.
This amazing video shows a monk breaking the world record for running on water - managing an incredible 125 metres.
Shi Liliang, a member of the Buddist Quanzhou Shaolin Temple, tried three times tobreak the previous record of 120 metres, which he set back in January.
Crowds of people gathered to watch the monk attempt the challenge, set up with 200 floating plywood planks on a reservoir in New Delhi on August 29.

Shi then had to run across each flimsy board in a straight line in his attempt to reach the other side of the lake - and managed a record-breaking 125 metres.
As well as using his arms to balance him, Shi told India TV News that speed and patience were both important techniques to use during the challenge.
He added: "You need to be fast but you should only take small steps."
