Rebecca Madojemu-Aikhomu the widow of late Admiral Augustus Aikhomu and two of her children were abducted earlier today along Benin-Auchi. And their driver was killed in the raid.
Late Admiral Augustus Aikhomu who died in 2011 was an Admiral in the Nigerian Navy who served as the de facto Vice President of Nigeria during the Ibrahim Babangida-led military junta from 1986 to 1993.
Meanwhile, Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State earlier today signed into law, the bill which prescribes death penalty to kidnappers.
