Troubled Nigeria Premier League side, Shooting
Stars of Ibadan,
have
been hit with more woes with the death of one of
their prolific
strikers,Moses Ogaga.
Ogaga, who joined Shooting Stars mid season last
year, reportedly
died on Wednesday morning in Ogbomosho on
the way to Kano where his
family was taking him for further medication. The
striker reportedly
died of typhoid fever.
Shooting Stars, who currently face relegation as
they are rooted
bottom of the league table with just three
matches left this season,
recently offset the medical bills of Ogaga who was
initially receiving treatment at a
private clinic in Ibadan.
An indegene of Edo State, Ogaga grew up in
Northern Nigeria where he
played for top sides likeKano Pillarsand Jigawa
United.
