Uche Nwofor moves to Holland

Nigeria striker, Uche Nwofor, has sealed a season-long loan to Dutch Eredivisie outfit, SC Heerenveen.
Nwofor completed the move from relegated VVV-Venlo by signing the one-year loan deal onFriday which brings to an end speculation over his club future.
The agent of the 21-year-old forward, Tony Harris, confirmed the move to supersport.comon Friday.
"Uche has signed on loan for SC Heerenveen. He is excited about the move. Heerenveen is a great club and he will work under the wings of legendary Marco Van Basten. I am convinced he will develop further," said Harris.
Nwofor had been linked with a number of English clubs including Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur before he signed up for The Super Frisians this week.
Russian champions, CSKA Moscow, were also interested in hooking the former 3SC and Enugu Rangers man.
This month Nwofor came off the bench to scoretwice in Nigeria's 2-0 win over South Africa in the Nelson Mandela Challenge in Durban.
The big forward joined VVV-Venlo in 2011 from Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side, Enugu Rangers.
