N96m spent on Obadare’s burial –Son

The family of the founder of the World Soul Winning Evangelistic Ministry, Apostle Timothy Obadare, has said that the burial of the late cleric gulped about N96m.
Son of the late evangelist, Paul Obadare, disclosed this in an interview with journalists at WOSEM Shiloh grounds at Ileki, Ilesa in Osun State on Thursday.
Obadare, who founded WOSEM was buried on August 17 amid fanfare.
The late clergy's son said the Osun State Government gave the family N35m for the burial.
Explaining how the N96m was spent, he said that a casket worth N5m was bought to bury his father, N61m was spent to build a mausoleum while N30m was spent to entertain guests who attended the ceremony.
Speaking on when the church would announce a successor to the late cleric, Paul said that the leadership of the church had commenced plans to announce a new general overseer of the church.
Paul however added that the leadership of the church would allow God to guide them in choosing a replacement for the late apostle.
